Disneyland!

We are always up for an adventure....especially with friends.

So when Dave and Kristin Johnson called us on a Sunday wanting to know if we were up for a trip to California that weekend...we just couldn't resist.

We stayed with my best friend Brittney in Vegas on Thursday night after a 9 hour drive from SLC in the snow and ice. We enjoyed hanging out with her beautiful girls and a delicious breakfast before continuing our drive to LA.

After picking up Dave and Kristin at the Airport we enjoyed the evening with some crepes and shopping on 3rd Street.

Saturday, Valentine's Day, we went to Disneyland and California Adventure...so romantic and truly the perfect Valentine's Date!

Sunday we went to church at the Anaheim third ward, the Holocust Museum and then headed up to Thousand Oaks to spend time with our friends the Bryan's.

With the Bryan's we enjoyed a fabulous pot roast dinner, lots of chippers (chocolate chip cookies), a very rain day of golf, plenty of Phineas & Ferb, and lots of mexican train.

Of course our trip was not complete until Scott endulged in some amazing ribs from Playoffs in Mesquite, NV.

(thanks Modie....for letting us crash at your apartment! We love you)

SO FUN you guys!! We want to come next time. I think my favorite photo is of you two in front of the castle. Both appropriately dressed for Valentines - matching! and then the couple ten feet away from you also matching taking the same cute photo.

A little bummed I missed out on the ribs. But I can't really complain. Thanks for taking us around CA. We had a great time... let's do it again sometime.

Maybe I am missing something but what is romantic about spoiled snot-nosed kids that are too tired but their parents are still insisting they get every penny of their Disneyland adventure??

ahhh to be young and in love!
